COMMUNITY FUNDING: "Ummah Responders". Alhamdulillah this anonymous donor circle helped for many years meet the financial needs of our local Ummah. ICNA-Relief provided application & verification services and then they would send an anonymous email story of the need to the circle. People would reply to fulfill fully of what ever they could contribute. This beloved service is currently paused until we find a partner able to do the intake applications and is accessible to those in greatest need. Hospital or nursing home VISITS: Trained members of the community. Focus is friendship not medical. Includes hospital, rehabs, nursing homes, and select home visits. To request: email [email protected] with the following info:
1. Confirmation the person to be visited has requested / consented to a visit from one of our volunteers
2. Initials of first and last name, gender, age range (child, young adult, adult, elder), preferred language, can they speak English well?
3. Days & time windows ok for a visit (call for now)
4. Location of the visit
5. Any specific need, urgency or info you wish you share
6. Phone number and contact to follow-up your request
